West Coast Christian School
▪ ABC through 2nd grade 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
▪ 3rd grade through 12th grade 8:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Please have your child arrive no earlier than 7:50 a.m. Students must be picked up by 2:35 p.m, unless arrangements have been made with the office because of an emergency situation. If you are going to be late please call us! Our policy when a student is not picked up within the thirty minute window from dismissal time, the teacher is required to use the emergency medical document to call the student’s emergency people. If after calling people on the list two times, at a five minute interval, it is the teacher’s duty to call the counties’ school sheriff resource officer to do a well check at the home residence on the parent. We have been informed by the sheriff that if the resource officer can not make contact with the parent a DCF representative will be called.
West Coast Christian School exists to lead each unsaved student to trust Christ as his personal Savior and then to follow Christ as Lord of his life. We exist to instill in each student a love for God and a personal sense of responsibility to be all He wants him to be. West Coast Christian School exists to direct each student in the process of allowing the Holy Spirit to develop Christ-like character and actions. We will strive to develop within each student a moral, ethical, and spiritual sensitivity that will lead to an appreciation of his own personal worth to God and to that of others.
We will instill in each student a love and honor for home and parents. We will prepare each student to be successful as measured by God’s Word and not the world’s standards. Our purpose is to develop each student’s sense of responsibility as a Christian citizen with a Christian world-view and philosophy of life. We will promote the idea of each student to take responsibility for his actions, words, and choices.
We offer each student an instructional program that is centered on God’s Word. We will teach students' thinking skills that enable students to meet intellectual challenges. We will strive to provide opportunities for developing skills necessary to making a living. We will motivate each student to master the tools of learning and communicating. We offer opportunities to participate in wholesome forms of recreation and social activities. Our final purpose is to encourage each student to plan on vocational Christian service unless God should lead him or her otherwise.
